Next up on Jan 30th is a song called “The Prince”. I released a song last year called Trophy Number 11. It’s about a woman married to a narcissistic husband. The song is from her perspective. This song takes the story from his perspective. It is darker and does not end well for him.
On February 6th I will be releasing a song that I have been working on for a couple of years. I started writing the lyrics right after my second hip operation.
What is left when an old grinder can’t handle the grind? This song is a slow-burn ballad written from the space between survival and surrender. Born out of my years of physical pain and quiet battles no one sees, it tells the story of a body that breaks and a spirit that almost follows. At its center is a gratitude deeper than words.
A tribute to my three sisters who walked beside me through dark times, set their own lives aside, and became strength when there was none left in me to give. It is not a song about being saved. It is a song about being carried.
On Feb 13th a remix of Mott Street as a duet is scheduled to be released on all major platforms!
Then sometime in late February I expect to finish and release a song called Silverado.
